Dad's wedding

Few weekend ago, We went to Dayton, Ohio to celebrate my dad's new life with his new wife, Janet Ford. It was such a beautiful cooler weekend for a beautiful wedding and being with all families. It was Marisol's first wedding and she was such an adorable little girl at her grandpa's wedding. She had good time being with all cousins. We are all happy for my dad and looking forward to get know Janet more. Share the joyful family memories with her.

Baptism

January 4th was the day Marisol was baptism. This was the special day that all family and friends were able to come and celebrated with us. When she was baptized, I started to cry because I have been dreaming of this moment because we gave our child to God to full his promises to us.
She slept through her baptism which was nice. We had big lunch at our house after the service, we enjoyed having everyone there with us to be part of Marisol's life.

Her room

We decided to have baby room decorated in a different way. Tim was born in Ecuador and I was born in Columbia. Both flags are similar but colors are same blue, red, and yellow. We use this colors for baby room. We wanted to preserve our heritage and teach our kids about other cultures than USA.

The theme of our baby room is "God has created people with many different cultures, but we are all his children". (Galations 3:28 and Colossians 3:11)

Arrival of Marisol Edila Edris

Marisol was born on November 17th, 2008, at 5:01pm, 6lbs 14 oz 19 and half length. She was born 6 days early before her due. We were very delight to find out we have a girl when she was born. Marisol's name mean Maria of Solitude. Edila was my old middle name before I was adopted at age 4. We love having her at home with us to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Year. Little miracle girl God has sent us to teach HIS word as we raise her.
